Well, even if originally thought so, this sweet sound certainly does not come from this bronze stringed "viola".

Viola Arca Archa is Latin and translates roughly to "box gamba" - what else.

Sure, it could sound better, but the main problem is tuning and staying in tune (a bit reminiscent of the original). But well, it was really fun to carve this neck out of an old wooden kitchen worktop.
