Dogs and cats often don't really get along. But when they grow up together, their relationship can end in a great friendship. It's the same with these two musical instruments, created at the same time, they complement each other perfectly.
The complete balance between the two is further emphasized by the fact that they are tuned differently. Dogs sometimes bark quite low - the Dog-Food-Guitar is tuned like a normal guitar in E-A-D-G-B-E. Cats meow a bit higher - therefore the Cat-Food-Guitar is tuned like a guitarlele 5 semitones higher, i.e. A-D-G-C-E-A.
