It took some time until the second Resonator guitar was actually assembled. Most of the parts were already made, but a necessary move of the workshop and a baby break delayed the start. This time, the neck was also "carpentered" on our own. This story is written at the site SM acoustics. Now it took another few years before we took her out to photograph her - here she is now, under the banana tree amongst the wild herbs in our garden in LA ^★.

After polishing, we did not wax or varnish the body. Now, after a few years of use, the desired patina is slowly forming - we like that.
